When I was in the Philippines, a young girl placed this painting in my hands. ![]()
It now hangs in my home, not as decoration, but as a commission. A call to pray. A call to speak for those whose voices were once silenced.
She came to the girls home at Kalungan sa Erma shattered by abuse. Her story was heartbreakingly common among the girls there. But brokenness was not the end of her story.
In the quiet spaces of healing, she found her voice through painting. She found her hope in Jesus.
She found her dignity through counseling, safety, and consistent love. Brushstroke by brushstroke, God rewrote what trauma tried to erase.
God never forgets His daughters. Not one.
And this home reflects His heart. It is a refuge where ashes become art and fear becomes faith.
We are so close. We need less than $16,000 to fully fund the girls home for an entire year. Our goal is $47,000 and we are almost there.
This is the moment to finish strong. To stand in the gap.
To help another girl trade silence for song. ![]()
If you have ever wondered whether your gift matters, it does. It hangs on my wall.
