We’re honored to pray over John 3:17 Ministry of Arkansas this week.
For the past 3 years, International Women’s Ministries has invested time on this campus as well as funding, support, and prayer over the women enrolled at the ministry center who are recovering from addiction.
We’re intimately aware of the powerful testimony that John 3:17 has in the lives of women who’ve come through this effective program.
As we all understand, the need for freedom and recovery from addiction is vital! We’re so grateful to witness the Christ centered difference that is invested in the lives of these women who’ve chosen to be set free.
We’re equally grateful for those in leadership who patiently, faithfully guide these women through what becomes one of the most important journeys of their lives. This is the beginning of healing, freedom, redemption and restoration! Hallelujah!!
Jesus replied, “Very truly I tell you, everyone who sins is a slave to sin. Now a slave has no permanent place in the family, but a son belongs to it forever. So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed. John 8:34-36
How precious, the ministry of Jesus. He heals the brokenhearted and binds up all of their wounds. He sets the captives free. No longer bound as a slave, but singing the song of redemption. The testimony of this Freed One, how sweet it is! The melody of this freedom testimony rings hope in the ears of those who need it… and feeds encouragement to the discouraged soul who also longs to be set free. Yes! There is hope for the captive!
Let’s ask Holy Spirit to flood our hearts with prayer and declaration over the addicted and broken this week. Will you pray with us that God will continue to abundantly bless and provide for the John 3:17 Ministry and leadership?
A few ways we can begin to pray:
*draw the broken and the captive to freedom
*stir up a desire to commit to discipline and dedication needed to pursue freedom from addiction
*strengthen women with endurance to finish the program
*perseverance through the difficult times as they press on to breakthrough
*encouragement to strengthen weak frames and feeble knees
*new desire kindled to pursue the heart of God and seek Him fully
* life surrendered completely to Jesus
*for the hope and future Christ intends for each woman to be fully realized by her!
*restoration and forgiveness in relationships, families etc. where brokenness was – let forgiveness and healing begin to flow
*financial provision for John 3:17, financial and prayer partnership
*wisdom, grace and peace to flow in the daily outpouring of leadership
For this reason I kneel before the Father, from whom every family in heaven and on earth derives its name. I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.
Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen. Ephesians 3:14-21
