Dear IWM Partners,
It has been almost 6 days since the IWM team returned from India. What a trip! It was non-stop! We traveled to many places and did not get much rest at all. The team ran hard the whole time. It was one of the most physically challenging trips I have ever been on. India is not for the faint of heart.
I want to praise the team! The team, consisting of Autumn Nims, Darlene Winans, Michele DeGarmo, Sharon Mason, and Krista Darcus, created a united effort for God’s glory. They stayed focused on their purpose, faced tough days like champions, and stayed committed to the mission of wiping tears away with God’s love. The heat in India was intense at 106 degrees, but our faith was stronger.
We held three two-day conferences called “Behold His Glory.” We also preached in two churches during our 10 days in India. The women shared powerful Bible teachings about beholding the glory of the Lord and personal stories of God’s glory in difficult times. They learned how to shine His light in dark places, even amid abuse and hidden struggles. Because we were there, they found courage to share their stories. We prayed with many women, wiped away tears, and encouraged the women leaders.
Psalm 34:5 says, “Those who look to him are radiant; their faces are never covered with shame.” I pray you see a glimpse of what God has done. In the coming weeks, you’ll hear more stories from the field. May they inspire and encourage you, just as God’s moving powerfully in our midst. God showed me that brokenness in God’s economy is the currency of powerful testimonies that break the back of Satan’s work. Two team members shared stories for the first time that released an atmosphere of freedom to share and heal.
Romans 15:13: “May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in Him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.”
Wiping tears until Jesus comes back!
