A Letter From Sister Miriam

Heal me I will be healed; save me and I will be saved, for you are the one I praise. (Jeremiah 17:14)

Dear IWM Board and Sister Autumn,

Past few weeks as I faced many physical and emotional difficulties, the Lord encouraged me through this verse. The Lord showed His mercies and I was able to Praise Him even though I was afraid and anxious. Thank you so much for your prayers.

The cyclone Tauktae hit here on May 14th and  caused much damage and many lives were lost. Many areas were flooded and people lost all their belongings. At this time, as we are already facing an incredibly hard situation because of covid -19, the cyclone left people really hopeless and more in need. I want to share with you a short update on the ministry and prayer needs.

Praise:
Cyclone did not cause any damage to my house or belongings. Strong winds and rain lashed through the night causing fear all around. But the Lord gave me peace through His Word.

As my area was declared a covid-19  Hot spot, I did covid tests for me and everyone in my house and everyone was tested negative. Praise God!

I was able to distribute food packages to 35 families affected by cyclone and covid.

The translation of Colossians is completed in my native language.

I was able to write and record a short bible study on Acts for the believers.

Please pray:

For providence to distribute more food packages and other needs to the families affected.

For safety for everyone in my house from covid.

Safety for me as I reach out to people with covid and visit hospitals.

For translation of 1st Corinthians ( now in Chapter 4)

Thank you so much for your prayers for me and the ministry. Your faithfulness to the Lord is an encouragement for me, and I thank the Lord for you.

God Bless You
Miriam
